Apple is set to launch a new, faster, more powerful Mac, called Mac Studio

Following in the footsteps of rumors and sources, Apple has unveiled a new Mac computer called Mac Studio at the Peek Performance event. This will take us to a whole new level of desktop computers. Much similar to previous leaks and product renders, Mac Studio looks like a combination of two Mac Mini.

The Mac Studio comes with 4 Thunderbolt 4 ports, a 10Gb Ethernet port, two USB-A ports, an HDMI port, and a pro audio jack. This is not surprising given that the two latest MacBook Pro models released in 2021 also have a few more ports than ever before. However, it seems that Apple has listened to the opinions and requests of its customers and provided them with what they need.

In addition to the ports mentioned above, there are two more ports on the front, including two 10GB / s USB-C 3 ports for the M1 Max chipset-powered Mac Studio model and two Thunderbold 4 ports for the M1 Ultra chipset-powered model. The .M1 Ultra is the latest chipset to join Apple's M1 chipset family, and is 80% faster than the Mac Pro, powered by the Intel Xeon chip, the most powerful desktop computer ever released by Apple. A Mac Pro version powered by the M1 chipset has yet to be unveiled, and we can only imagine how powerful the upcoming Mac Studio will be in terms of how fast and powerful the Mac Pro model that will be unveiled in the near future will be.

The new Mac Studio comes with Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5 capability, with 64GB of unified memory for the M1 Max chipset and 128GB of unified memory for the M1 Ultra chipset-powered Mac Studio.

This computer is so fast and powerful that it can stream 8k ProRes 422 video 18 simultaneously. This precious computer can be pre-ordered from this Friday and is available for purchase from March 18th. The M1 Max and M1 Ultra are priced at US $ 1,999 and US $ 3,999 respectively.
