The new Media Player for Windows 11 is set to be released to Windows Insider users on the beta channel

Microsoft is working to redesign the Media Player for Windows 11. Microsoft has also taken steps to bring this new app to the Windows 11 Beta Channel.

This new media player can replace the Groove Music app, the default music player in Windows 11, and the Movies & TV App, the default video player. Somewhat similar and no new facility has been introduced for this. But it has all the amenities you need.

You do not have to worry about losing the classic Windows Media Player. It is still hidden in the Windows Tools folder in the Start Menu.

Microsoft says that after the release of this Media Player for all Windows 11 users, it will only be available to users who have already installed the latest update. Otherwise, users of older versions of Windows 11 will be informed that this will not work even if they download and install (Sideload) it from another website. However, the release date of this new Media Player App for all Windows 11 computers worldwide has not been announced yet.
