On the myth that exists among us about nuclear power

I wanted to write this because I want to explain a few of the usual myths that come up every day wherever this topic is discussed. It is unfortunate to have to answer the same question every day.

And there is no need to depopulate nuclear power plants. That's nonsense. Preschools are run in some of Japan's nuclear power plants. With the elimination of the undue fear of those people.

Half of our intellectuals often say that Sri Lanka does not have enough space to build nuclear power plants. This is a lie. South Korea, one and a half times as large as Sri Lanka, has 21 nuclear power plants. South Korea, one of the world's top technological giants, has achieved that feat thanks to the power of those massive sustainable energy sources.

This is really the biggest myth about nuclear power. This is completely false. The nuclear fuel used in a nuclear power plant has never been enriched to the point of producing a bomb-like nuclear chain reaction. Therefore, a nuclear power plant will never explode like a nuclear bomb and hundreds of thousands of people will die.

Plant accidents like Chernobyl and Fukushima-Daiichi were not caused by nuclear explosions. Nuclear reactions take place inside the "Reactor Vessel" at a nuclear power plant.
