Google suspends live traffic service in Ukraine

Support for all tools that provide live traffic information on Google Maps in Ukraine and information on how busy the area is for the safety of civilians in Ukraine due to the escalating war between Russia and Ukraine will be temporarily suspended from Sunday (February 27). 

Google, the parent company of Alphabet Inc, has announced that it has discontinued. They further state that this decision was taken by Ukraine after discussions with the relevant officials.

According to Google, they made the decision after confirming information that Russia was using Live Traffic Information on Goole Maps and locality revealing tools to attack Ukraine.
